6.4.2 Conversion work on the T1 transformer for the component table
6.4.2.1 Converting transformer T1 from 230 VAC to 120 VAC
Remove the tape roll container and the waste container.
Release the screws for the MTC cover on the component table side.
Lift off the cover.

Detach the black wire from terminal 5 and connect to terminal 4.

6.4.2.2 Replacing fuse F1
Replace the fuse in the fuse holder in the cover panel:
old rating: 3.15 A T
new rating: 6.3 A T
Replace the adhesive label specifying 3.15 A with the 6.3 A label from the conversion kit.
6.4.3 Checking the protective wire connections, fitting the covers
Check that the detached protective earth wires have been reconnected correctly.
Fit the covers.
6.4.4 Carry out the safety check to DIN EN 60 204
When the conversion is complete, carry out a safety check to DIN EN 60 204.
Follow the procedure described in section 2, page 146 onwards.

6.5 Converting the power supply from 3 x 208 VAC to 3 x 400 VAC
Dock the MTC out of the placement machine.
RISK OF DEATH 6
Disconnect the MTC from the main power supply.
Remove the plug for the communication cable from the placement machine.
Take suitable action to ensure that the MTC cannot be connected to the power supply during
the conversion work.
Put up warning signs to indicate that work is being carried out on the electrical system.
