1.1 Course Overview AL1 SIPLACE D-Series
Course type: SIPLACE Advanced Level 1 Training for SIPLACE D-Series
Description: This training course is designed to familiarize customer staff (setup staff, line supervisors,
maintenance personnel) with the operation, maintenance and technology of the SIPLACE
D4 .
The course participants should already know the various assemblies in the SIPLACE D-
series, their mode of operation and special functions.
Participants should also be able to operate the SITEST 603 or 604 software, to perform
basic settings and to calibrate the whole machine. They should also be familiar with the
principle of placement heads, their reference runs and the placement sequence.
Participants should already understand the interrelationship of functions and machine
processes in detail and should be able to localize and fix minor errors.
Course duration: The "Customer Training AL1 SIPLACE D-Series" course generally lasts 5 days, with the
following course hours:
First day: Course begins at 10:00
Last day: Course ends at 12:00
The other course days begin at 8:00 and end around 16:00 hours.
Target group: This training course is aimed primarily at customers, including:
Setup staff
Line supervisors
Maintenance personnel
Requirements: Since the content relates closely to the D-series machines, the number of participants is
restricted to a maximum of six.
Successful participation requires that participants have already completed the following
training courses:
SIPLACE operator training or similar skills
SIPLACE preventive maintenance
Training location: The training can take place in any SIPLACE training center which is equipped with a D-
Series machine and the 603/604 software.
