"Safety Precautions" describes the precautionary items that should be kept to prevent
personal injury or property damage beforehand and use the machine safely.
Before using this machine, please understand the contents of the following
safety precautions.
1. About Safety Precaution Labels
The safety precautions are expressed, using the combinations of safety alert symbols
" " and headwords such as "DANGER", "WARNING", or "CAUTION" according to
the degree of danger.
Please fully understand the meaning of each precautionary item for safety purposes.
The safety alert symbols " " are used to indicate a potential personal injury
hazard.
Please pay attention to all safety messages that follow the safety alert symbols to avoid
any possibility of injury or death.
This indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, will result in death or serious injury. This
signal word is limited to the most extreme situations.
A precautionary item identified as " CAUTION" may also lead the operator to
reach a serious result. To avert a serious result, please respect the described
cautions.
This indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, may result in property damages.
WARNING
This indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
This indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.

2. Common Precautionary Items
Basic Precautions
z Only a well-trained person should perform the maintenance work for the machine.
Do not allow any untrained person to perform the meintenance work for the machine.
Mishandling of the machine can cause a serious accident.
z Before the maintenance work for the machine, please read the service manual carefully
for correct operations.
z Please keep the service manual in a safe place within reach.
z Follow the instructions in the service manual for the maintenance work of the machine.
z Be sure to fully understand the contents of the safety instructions in the service manual
and follow the instructions.
z Please keep the precautionary items labeled on the machine or described in the service
manual.
When the precautionary items are ignored, it will result in personal injury or property
damage (damage to the machine).
z Be sure to follow the instructions described in the service manual.
z Do not modify the machine nor use any parts other than the specified ones for the
machine. Be sure not to perform the maintenance work with its safety devices
detached. Doing otherwise may cause personal injury.
z Although the precautionary items have been reviewed repeatedly, an incident far
beyond our expectation may occur.
Not only follow the precautionary instructions described in the service manual but also
try to perform the maintenance work carefully at your discretion all the time.
Be sure to strictly keep the above-mentioned instructions. Otherwise, not only wrong
maintenance of the machine but also personal injury will result.
