: Clip the supporting rails onto the holes in the screws in the magnetic plate.

: Before you attach the second magnetic plate (to the left), place a 0.8 mm thick non-magnetic
spacer (e.g. incremental encoder film) between the magnetic plates, otherwise they will be at-
tracted to one another and will be difficult to separate.

: Place the second magnetic plate against the spacer.

: Insert the spacer block into the two holes at the top of the magnetic plates.

You might need to use the feeler gauges, as well. 1

: Use all the screws to fix the magnetic plate in position, and tighten using the torque wrench.
: Remove the spacer, spacer block and feeler gauges.
: Clip the supporting rails onto the holes in the screws in the magnetic plate.
: Place the cover sheet onto the magnetic plate, making sure that the sheet lies inside the recess
in the supporting rails.

: Guide the cover sheet behind the gantries.
: Push both gantries to the left as far as they will go.
: Roll up the sheet to the right beside the gantries, and clamp tightly to prevent it unrolling again.

: Now fit the large magnetic plate to the right of the middle plate and fit the small magnetic plate
on the far right as described for the other plates.
: Place the rolled-up cover sheet over all the magnetic plates.

: Remove all tools and equipment from the placement machine.
: Fit the magnetic plates on the other side of the placement machine in the same way.
