2.3 Fitting the sleeves
: Dock the relevant component trolley out of the machine.
: Remove the tape reels and their carrier from the tape container.
: Remove the bars, the tape reels are seated on (2 screws per bar).

: Unscrew the bracket on one end of the bar (1 screw).

: Remove the sleeves from the bars.

Keep the detached sleeves separately to do not mix them up with the new ones. 2

: Push the new sleeves from the retrofit kit (D1 / D2) or the two retrofit kits (D4) onto the bars.
There are long and short sleeves; use the short ones to fill space inbetween.

: Screw the brackets to the bars once more.
: Screw the bars to the component trolley.

2.4 Identification of retrofitted component trolleys
To identify the retrofitted component trolleys with the new sleeves, a self adhesive green sticker
must be applied on the front left side on the trolley (ssen from the docked trolley). 2
: Remove one or more tape reel carrier to reach the glue position (if inside the trolley).
: Glue the sticker onto the front bracket of the bar.

: Insert the tape reels and carrier into the component trolley.
: Dock the component trolley into the machine.
: Carry out the tasks on all the component trolleys for the relevant placement machine.
