5.40 SITEST
Note:
A detailed description of the new SITEST functions can be found in the Software Guide
505 and the SITEST online Help system.
The following changes have been made in SITEST for version 505.xx of the software:
Main view: Calibrate machine…
- Dialog box "Calibrate entire machine" -> field "Mapping" -> button "Extended…" used to be
"Heads and mapping...".
Main view: "Settings" menu -> "Machine configuration…" menu option
- The "Machine configuration – Gantry" dialog box has been redesigned. The "Nozzle changer"
field displays the configuration of the magazine carriers for the nozzle changers at the various
locations and can be changed as required.
Main view: "Settings" menu -> "Head replacement…" menu option
- The "Head exchange C&P head 1" and "Head exchange Twin Head" dialog boxes have been
redesigned. In the "Functions" tab, the "Nozzle changer" field displays the configuration of the
magazine carriers for the nozzle changers at the various locations and can be changed as
required.
Conveyor: "Conveyor functions" view
- Redesigned functions for testing the sensors and stop units (stopper replaced by stop unit).
- "PCB to processing conveyor 1" and " PCB to processing conveyor 2" replaced by " PCB to
processing conveyor" and "PCB to next stop position".
The function "Change transport mode" is now in the new Options view

Conveyor: "Conveyor track width" view
- The functions "Calibrate conveyor edges" and "Calibrate conveyor width" have been removed

Conveyor: "Calibrate conveyor and functions" (was previously the "Functions" view)
- The functions "Calibrate conveyor edges" and "Calibrate conveyor width" have been taken from
the "Conveyor width" view
Conveyor: "Options and configuration" view (new)
- "Conveyor widening" field –> "Change widening of conveyor…" button. This opens a dialog box
in which the option "widened" or "not widened" can be set. This starts the process for widening
the conveyor or reducing the width of the conveyor. The option for widening the conveyor is
required in order to use the flexible dual conveyor functions; for more information see the
description of this feature in the "
Flexible dual conveyor" section.
- Function "Change transport mode" (previously in the "Conveyor functions" view): Selection of
"Normal PCB" or "Long PCB" (see the "
"Long PCB" option" section)
- "Show stop position" function: Shows the number of the configured stop positions for processing
area 1 and 2 and whether the standard stop positions (offset 0) are configured.
- "Adjust position of fixed edge" function. Selection of the option for the maximum conveyor width
(standard width or excess width).
Twin Head – "Head board" view
- New function called "Zero calibration for pressure regulator": This function is used to carry out
the zero calibration of the pressure regulator for the selected segment.
Twin Head: "Nozzle changer head functions" view (has been partially redesigned)
- The table has been extended to include the columns "Location" and "Carrier", the column
header "Actual" was previously "Actual nozzle" and "Preset" was previously "Preset nozzle".

Twin Head: "Nozzle changer magazine functions" view (has been completely redesigned)
- The configured magazine carriers are displayed and can be selected.
- "Current carrier" field -> "Magazine configuration..." button (new): This is used to call the dialog
which allows you to change the current magazine configuration for the selected magazine
carrier.
- "Calibrate" field -> "Magazine position…" button (new). This is used to call the "Calibrate
magazine position" dialog box in which you can select the options for calibration. These can be
called directly via the buttons in the "Calibrate" field of version 504.xx.
- The following options can be set for calibrating the magazine position(s):
All magazines (all carriers) During calibration, the positions are determined for all
magazines on the magazine carriers configured for both
current locations.
All magazines (current carrier) During calibration, the positions are determined for all
magazines set up on the selected magazine carrier.
Current magazine During calibration, the positions are determined for the
selected magazine.
With pick-up height During calibration, the pick-up heights (specified heights)
for the magazines are also determined.
Twin Head – "Coplan" view (new)
- In this view, the function for calibrating the coplanarity module for HF and HF/3 machines is
available; for more information see the description of the feature in section
5.27 "Coplanarity
module
".
