2.9.2 Safety Precautions for Closing Hoods and Process Cham-
ber
In order to eliminate any risk of injury when closing the oven’s hoods and
process chambers, the operating company must require oven operating per-
sonnel to close the hoods and process chambers in accordance with the fol-
lowing instructions only.
During the closing of hoods and process chambers there is a danger of per-
sons’ limbs being jammed in the gap between process chamber cover and
bottom or between hood and frame.
When closing hoods and process chambers the horn sounds as an addition-
al indication of a danger situation.
Description:
Make sure that nobody is in close proximity to the hoods or process cham-
ber when they are opened and closed.
For opening or closing press the software button in the main mask.
Keep the software button pressed until the hoods or the process cham-
bers have been opened or closed completely. If the button is not pressed
any more the hoods or the process chamber stay in the present position.
Danger!
If Hoods and Process Chambers are Closed Incorrectly.
If during opening or closing of the process chamber a failure of the drive
motor occurs (power failure, motor protection tripped), the process cham-
ber remains in its momentary position. Only after rectifying the failure, the
process chamber can be moved into the desired position by means of the
software button.

PC (for control)
Fan in the control cabinet (for cooling)
Heating Fans >90°C
Emergency-Stop appears at the display in the alarm window.

2.9.5 Auto-Start-Switch
The auto-start-switch is a software button which appears in the main win-
dow. See also Fig. 5-10, Main Window‚ on page 82, item M.
The drive unit, the heat and compressed air (optional) can be turned on
(auto-on) or off (auto-off) simultaneously with this switch.
If the nitrogen will be switched on or switched off depends from the activated
software.
2.9.6 Operating Mode Selector Switch
The system can be set to either the service mode or automatic operation
with the operating mode selector switch.
The automatic operating mode is used when the system is operated under
normal circumstances. The heating chamber and the cooling tract are
closed. The following functions are disabled for safety reasons: “open/close
heat chamber”, “open/close cooling tract” and “reset load”.
The service mode is selected when maintenance, setup and repairs are
necessary.
