Safety
Before starting the machine, personnel involved in the machine operation, maintenance or
service must understand and follow these points:
1) This machine is designed to automatically inspect PCB via X-ray scanning and
algorithms.
2) The machine must be operated by qualified personnel only. Qualified personnel should
meet the following qualifications:
Have normal depth perception, field of vision, reaction time, manual dexterity,
coordination, and no tendency to dizziness.
Completed operators training.
3) All personnel involved in machine operation must understand the use of the emergency
stop buttons.
4) Anyone operating this machine must obey the warning signs.
5) Ensure that all covers and shields are intact, mounted, and closed while the machine is
in operation.
6) Do not disable or disengage any safety switch or sensor.
Personal Safety Equipment
The correct operation of this machinery does not require any Personal Safety Equipment.
Physical Safety Hazards
1) Noise Level: The noise levels of the machinery are of <80dB with frequency between
20Hz - 20 kHz in accordance to Taiwan Noise Control Act, Article 4 (Noise control
standards for factory plants or sites - Class 4)
2) Radiation Level: For all X-ray inspection equipment manufactured by TRI, under normal
conditions the radiation dose at 5cm distance from any cabinet outer wall should not
exceed 0.5µSv/h.
Note: Before operating the AXI machine, please ensure that you have read and
understand the Health and Safety Manual.

WARNING: Risk of electric shock and mechanical injury. Only fully
trained persons should be allowed to take part in the installation
process.
WARNING: Do not reach in the machine when it is operating.
WARNING: When TRI created the test system software CD, it
contained no known viruses. The software on the TRI CD was checked
by the latest anti-virus software before being copied to the disk.
Customers should use a good, up-to-date virus checker on this TRI
software, and any other file you import from an outside source before
using the software. Please also ensure your virus checker’s data files
are up to date.
