Introduction of ProcessExpert
ASM ProcessExpert is a self-learning inline expert system for electronics manufacturing. ASM ProcessExpert does not
only analyze processes, but also stabilizes, automatically optimizes and proactively controls them.
ASM ProcessEpert comprises of:
– A compatible DEK Printer.
– ASM ProcessLens (Single Lane or Dual Lane), Solder Paste Measurement (SPM) inline machine.
– ProcessEngine, intelligent software analyzing real time measurement results of ASM ProcessLens, taking control of
a DEK printer, stabilizing, optimizing and pro-actively keeping the printing process under control.

Introduction of ProcessLens
Solder Paste Inspection ProcessLens:
– The inspection machine that inspect the quality of the paste on the PCB after solder paste printer.
1. ProcessEngine programming station.
2. Input: Pasted PCB.
3. Process: Solder paste quality inspection.
4. Output: Inspected pasted PCB.
Role Of An Operator
1. To load Recipe for inspection.
2. To prepare the machine for production.
3. To decide PASS/DEFECT base on pre-set criteria set by Quality Department.
4. To keep machine in operation.
5. Basic troubleshooting.
6. End of shift task.
