3. Retrieval of Standard Component ID
To place components on a PCB, the IDs of the components to be placed
must be set up in the pattern program.
It is also required to check if the components to be placed are regis-
tered as standard component IDs through retrieval operation. Refer to
another instruction manual "Component Library Data (TIM-X Series)"
for details.
Retrieval of Standard Component IDs
(a) Before performing the retrieval operation,
the following information should be ob-
tained in advance from approval draw-
ings, a catalog, actual components, etc.
• Component Makers and Names
• Serial Nos. and Package Names Speci-
fied by Component Makers
(b) Refer to the instruction manual "Compo-
nent Library Data (TIM-X Series)" for how
to retrieve component IDs.
Registered Use the pertinent standard component IDs.
Not Registered Create new component library data.
Refer to "Section 4 Creation of New Compo-
nent Library" for details.
