Clean SZ-axis shaft guide by wiping
away the grease or soiling from SZ-axis
shaft buide (2 positions) using a lint-
free cloth.

Clean SZ-axis ball screw by wiping away
the grease or soiling from SZ-axis ball
screw (1 position), along the arrowed
direction illustrated at right, using a
lint-free cloth.

NOTE
Carefully wipe the lead grooves of the ball screw.
Additionally, make sure that any dirt is not remained.

Apply the prescribed grease (NSL) by
hand uniformly to shaft guide (2
positions).

Lubricate the ball screw.
1. Inject the prescribed grease (NSL) to the
grease nipple (1 position) of ball screw
using a grease gun (standard type nozzle)
until the grease seep out from gap.
2. Wipe away the excess grease.
TIP
Face the grease gun lever downward upon injection.

4.1.1 Cleaning and lubricating for X-axis and Y-axis
This section describes the procedures of cleaning and lubricating of X- and Y-axis of YSP10.

Detach machine rear cover.

Press the emergency stop button to ensure the safety work.
Standard type:
Loosen 6 screws on the rear cover of machine with Phillips screwdriver. Then remove the cover
uplifting.
With automatic mask exchange unit:
1. Open upper rear cover.
2. Loosen 4 screws on the center rear cover of machine with Phillips screwdriver. Then remove the
cover.

CAUTION
Be careful not to be injured by dropping down the cover.
