Antivirus Product License Statement for Siemens

The corporate service Siemens Virus Competence Center (VCC) performs the centralized virus
protection support as basic service for domestic and foreign companies of the Siemens AG as well as
for affiliated companies of the Siemens AG worldwide with an interest > 50%, this will be abbreviated
in the following as "SIEMENS COMPANIES".
The VCC negotiated with the manufacturers and entered into agreements about worldwide valid
enterprise licenses for the Siemens AG and the SIEMENS COMPANIES regarding the products
needed for virus protection.
Currently there are existing agreements with the company TrendMicro regarding worldwide valid
corporate licenses within the framework of the corporate service VCCfor the following products:
TrendMicro OfficeScan Corporate Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP and 95/98/ME
TrendMicro ServerProtect for Windows NT/2000 and Novell and Linux
TrendMicro ScanMail for Microsoft Exchange 5.5 / Exchange 2000
TrendMicro eManager for ScanMail for Exchange
TrendMicro eManager for VirusWall / Internet Messaging Security Suite
TrendMicro ScanMail for Lotus Notes
TrendMicro Interscan VirusWall / Internet Messaging Security Suite for Windows NT/2000 and Sun
Solaris
TrendMicro PcScan for MS-DOS
TrendMicro VScan for Windows 95/NT/2000/XP, UNIX
TrendMicro Virus Control System (TVCS) / TrendMicro Control Manager (TMCM)
Note: If any of these licenses is to be cancelled, there will be an information by VCC communication and an update of this
present document not less than 3 months before the new regulation gets valid.

The products above written in italics are included in the Corporate License, but not in the VCC
basic support.
Only products/platforms written in bold are currently released for the VCC basic service.
If it is not defined within the product specification otherwise, the licenses are covering all platforms
available from the manufacturer. The current availability of products and product platforms is
documented within the VCC web site within the Siemens intranet.
This statement refers particularly to TrendMicro product versions for Windows Server 2003,
as there are currently no official vendor packages available for this platform.
Before using one of the licensed products please inform yourself about its current release state.
All product versions released for Siemens by the VCC are available as download via the VCC web
site within the Siemens intranet.
The products of the company Trend Micro are defined as primary virus protection tools for Siemens
and have to be used for preference therefore.
Former additional corporate licences for other products (F-Secure) are no more available.
The manufacturer support for the Siemens AG and all SIEMENS COMPANIES is included in all these
licenses, if the manufacturers will be contacted exclusively by the VCC. Therefore support requests
have to be sent via the local VCC Contacts to the VCC helpdesk only.
The Corporate License includes the right to install client antivirus software on private PC's of
Siemens employees, but only in cases when these machines are used for official purposes too.
All additional products and services offered by the manufacturers are not
included in the Corporate
License. If such extensions are needed, there must be additional agreements.
The attractively priced employment of the following products is offered in a framework of optional VCC
services. Their usage is possible only after agreement with the VCC.

TrendMicro ServerProtect for EMC Cellera
It is not permitted to use known license keys of licensed products for other not licensed products. This
would be a violation of licenses and contracts.
All Siemens AG divisions and all SIEMENS COMPANIES using these licenses are obliged to report
their current count of licenses for these products if they are urged for this by the Siemens Virus
Competence Center.
