[1] Elevator Power LED
This LED indicates whether or not the elevator is powered.
When the elevator is powered, the LED illuminates.
[2] Ready Switches
(Magazine #1 Ready, Exchange Position Ready, Magazine #2 Ready
Switches)
The machine is equipped with doors and ready switches ("Magazine #1",
"Exchange Position", and "Magazine #2") at each individual magazine
exchange and component supply positions.
The LED of each ready switch indicates the following.
•
When the LED illuminates in green, it indicates that the d
oor is
electromagnetically locked, making it impossible to be opened.
•
When the LED is turned off, it indicates that the door is not locked and
can be opened.

Step No. Buttons [1] through [15] and [ALL CHANGE] Button
Provided on the inner sides of Magazine #1 and #2 Doors are Step No.
buttons ([1] through [15]) and the [ALL CHANGE] buttons. Each Step No.
can be referred to for checking if a tray is inserted or not.
•
When the LED illuminates in green, it indicates that the step of the
corresponding No. is loaded with components.
•
When the LED is ickering in green, it indicates that the step of the
corresponding No. is short of components.
•
When the LED is turned off, it indicates that no step data is specied in
the pattern program.
When the stage in a component shortage error (ickering LED of the step
No. button) is reloaded with components and the corresponding step No.
button is pressed, the LED illuminates in green.
When several step in component shortage errors are reloaded with
components and the [ALL CHANGE] button is pressed, the LEDs of the
corresponding step Nos. are turned on.

3.2 JEDEC / FULL Size Traverse Cart
The traverse is provided with a mechanism that pulls out a pallet from the
magazine.
A pallet is pulled out at the specied position from the magazine and transferred
to the component pickup position.
After the components have been picked up, the pallet is stored in the magazine.
Also, ten units of 8 mm tape feeder can be mounted onto the slot section on the
side of the traverse section.
Note
Addition to the tape feeder, the recycle conveyor, ux dispensing unit and
vibration stick feeder can be mounted on it.

3.3 Cutter Unit
This unit is used to cut the empty tape set on the tape feeder mounted on the side
of the traverse section.
This unit cuts the tape to the specied length and such cut tapes are collected in
the scrap box.

3.4 Magazines
CAUTION
Because the magazine is heavy, take care handling
it when it is moved. Otherwise, you might injure
your arm or waist.
NOTTICE
In the case that the total mass of the magazine exceeds
20kg, it should be lifted and moved by two people.
The magazines are provided with a mechanism that install the pallets (the pallets
loaded with trays). By replacing a magazine with another one (loaded fully with
components), the feeder can be loaded collectively with components.
•
Case :
"Total Thickness ≤ 8 mm"
15-Step Magazine (15 pallets/1 magazine), 12 mm Pitch
Notice
(a) Do not put a magazine on another one.
No object should be put on the upper surface of the machine, either.
A deformed magazine may cause the feeder to break down.
(b) Beforeplacingamagazineontheoor,besuretoconrmthatthere
is no foreign substance such as dirt and dust on the bottom surface
of the magazine.
If a magazine is used with the bottom surface being dirty (adherence
of dirt and dust), the feeder works with the magazine being tilted and
may break down.
(c) Do not put any seals or tapes on the side faces of the magazine.
Otherwise, the magazine will malfunction.
•
Total Mass (Full Capacity) of Magazine
The total mass is 40 kg (determined by the formula "(Weight of Pallets +
Components in Trays) × Number of Steps").
