Notes:
Touch the calibration icon within 20 seconds, otherwise calibration is automatically
canceled.
Make sure that you are standing directly in front of the monitor.
Carry out calibration in the position (standing or seated) you normally adopt when working
at this screen.
Touch the calibration icon firmly and accurately with your fingertip.
Make sure that you to not inadvertently touch the screen with any other finger.
Touch the calibration icon with your finger and make sure that the yellow area is completely
covered by your finger. The message "Hold" appears around the hand icon.
Keep your finger on the calibration icon until the "Touch Enabled" message appears. A second
calibration icon now appears.
Repeat the steps described above for the second calibration icon.
A dialog box then appears asking you to test the calibration. You can carry out the calibration
again if you are not sure that you have carried it out correctly the first time.
Carry out the procedure described above for the second screen as well.
Click the Close button to close the program.

4.2.2 Definitions
4.2.2.1 Initial installation
The first time the station software is installed on a SIPLACE placement machine is known as the
initial installation.
4.2.2.2 Update
If an initial installation has already been performed and a more recent release version of the
station software is to be loaded, then this procedure is referred to as an update.
The release version is identified by the last two digits of the complete version number.
Example:
601.02 = The number 601 identifies the software functions
The number 02 is the release version 2.
4.2.2.3 Upgrade
The range of functions of the software is indicated by the three digit number contained within the
complete version number.
The installation of a software version with a version number higher than the existing, installed
version is known as an upgrade procedure.
Example:
Changing software from 407.04 to 408.01 = upgrade

4.2.3 Installing the station computer software and the additional programs
Note:
The installation requires approximately 30 minutes.
4.2.3.1 Installation program
Switch on the SIPLACE placement machine.
Log in to the station computer as the Administrator.
(Keep the Shift key pressed as soon as the XP logo appears)
Caution:
Any predecessor version already installed on the station computer must be uninstalled
before version 601.02 SP1 is installed (see section
4.3).
Note:
The C&P20 heads must be calibrated after the station software has been installed.
Put the installation CD in the CD-ROM drive. The CD is read automatically.
Note:
If autostart has been disabled for the CD ROM drive, you must start the installation
manually from the Windows Explorer.
Open the Explorer and start "setup.exe" under drive E by double clicking it.
A check is first carried out to determine whether a predecessor version of the 601.02 station
software is installed. If this is the case, a message to this effect is displayed and installation is
canceled.
If no station software is found on the system, installation commences with language selection.
