Preparation
The following steps must always be observed when disassembling or removing a magnet, guide rails
and gantries.
Note that empty packaging must be available for disassembling the magnets. At each package only
one magnet is allowed.
Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
Complete all necessary repair/replacement work before removing the magnet.
Clear the area in which the magnet is to be unpacked of all ferromagnetic objects (steel particles,
screws, tools, and metal tables, etc.) and move all recording and measuring equipment to a safe
place.
DANGER
It is only permitted SIPLACE technicians to develop the magnets, guides and portals related to
linear actuators.
It is only permitted to hand over assemblies that have been locked for customers after the legal
situation has been clarified in respect of regional legislation by the regional subsidiary in con-
sultation with the customers.
In this event, liability for any damages transfers to the regional subsidiary and the customers.
