Switch off the machine, disconnect it from the power supply and secure it to prevent unauthorized reac-
tivation.
Machine against restart. Observe the instructions in section LINK.

If only the magnets must be replaced, the demounting of the gantry is not mandatory. Move the
gantry to dismantle the magnets as much as possible on the side.

Magnetic force 400kg
The secondary part of the linear drives contain permanent magnets with high magnetic fields.
There is a risk of death, serious personal injury and / or material damage. People with active
implants (eg pacemakers, insulin pumps), metal implants and magnetic or electrically conduct-
ing foreign bodies are strongly discouraged from dealing directly with the permanent magnets.

The copper hammer and wedges are used in case of accident to separate the magnets! Get an
additional person to help you on the work with the magnets.

▪ The metal plate with the security inscription support is always at the top so that you can read them
on the handset. See picture.
▪ Loosen the magnet while holding firmly the magnet along with support. After removing the last screw,
remove the magnet carefully from the outside and tilt.
Caution! Please consider the notes from
00195600 - TI Safety note monorail, D + E
Magnets must be dismantle only from the outside
to the inside.
Get an additional person to help you on the work
with the magnets.
NOTICE
Exchange guide carriages / loose bearing y-axis
It must be dismantled three magnets on both sides.
Before dismantling the magnets, insert the Teflon plate and the safety support in all magnets ,
as shown in the picture . (When sharing the carriage / loose bearing y-axis on the outer 3) so
you avoid scratching the magnets.

Mount Magnet
▪ Before assembly the magnets on the last magnets, insert the Teflon plate and the safety pad. Place
the spacer for Y magnets [03065304-xx] between the magnet and machine base.
▪ Place the magnet with safety pad on the machine frame and push it gently into the mounting position.
WARNING
Magnetic force 400kg
Place the magnets never unsecured on a work surface. When storing the magnets use always
the prescribed packaging as
„Cardboard lid for 03064172-01“ [03082592-xx] and with the safety cover.
NOTICE
Please keep an eye on the magnet Pollrichtung "N". This must be the same for all the magnets
on one side.
DANGER
The magnets attract each other and there is a risk to squeeze the fingers between the magnets.
