Preparing the Head Mount
Preparing the Head Mount
Assemble the head mount. For details, refer to the assembly instructions "Universal placement head
mounting rack" [DE+EN: 00196371-xx].
Preparing the Placement Head
Dismantle the placement head and remove it from the placement machine. For details, refer to the
service manual for your machine.
Use the FHE function if possible.
Fit the placement head onto the head mount.

Replacing the Pressure Control Valve
The placement head must be removed for this maintenance task.
Replace the pressure control valve. Read the service manual for your placement head for more in-
formation.
CAUTION
ESD
Connect the assembly mount ESD connection to an ESD connection at the workplace.
Always observe the ESD regulations described in the user manual.
NOTICE
Recommendation
We recommend that you have an additional pressure control valve available, so that this can
be easily replaced during head maintenance.
The actual cleaning of the removed pressure control valve can be performed later on.
For more information about this, read section "6 Maintenance Tasks for Pressure Control
Valve" [ 65].

Sleeve (Twin shown as example)
Spray a small amount of Teflon oil on a lint-free cloth
and clean the sleeve and nozzle seat.
Alternatively you can also use a SIPLACE cleaning
cloth.
Carefully blow through the nozzle.
Repeat these steps on the second Twin module if
necessary.
Filter (example of Twin shown)
Unscrew the lid (1) of the filter.
NOTICE!
If the filter is difficult to access, use the long-nosed pliers
to help you.
Remove the filter (2).
Clean the filter by blowing compressed air through it.
Check the filter for damage.
If it is damaged replace it with a new one.
Screw the filter tight again.
Repeat these steps on the second Twin module if
necessary.
