The user manual contains the most comprehensive set of information for the Edison MPM
Printer.
1.4. Conventions Used in this Manual
This icon signifies information that describes an unsafe
condition that may result in death, serious injury, or damage
to the equipment.
Danger!
Danger is the signal word used to indicate a hazardous
situation that, if not avoided, will result in death or severe
injury.
Warning!
Warning is the signal word used to indicate a hazardous
situation that, if not avoided, could result in death or severe
injury.
Caution!
Caution is the signal word used to indicate a hazardous
situation that, if not avoided, could result in moderate or
minor injury.
Notice
Notice is the signal word used to indicate a hazardous
situation that, if not avoided, could result in property damage.
This icon signifies supplemental important information.
LOG OUT
Bold, 10 point sans-serif typeface indicates a specific key or
button on screen to click.
1.5. General Warnings and Cautions
Failure to follow these warnings can result in property damage, injury or death.
Users of this equipment must comply with operating
procedures and training of operation personnel as required
by the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Section 5
and relevant safety standards, as well as other safety rules
and regulations of state and local governments. Refer to the
relevant safety standards in OSHA and National Fire
Protection Association (NFPA), 86.

Caution!
Setup and maintenance of the equipment should be performed
by qualified personnel who are experienced in handling all
facets of this type of system. Improper setup and operation of
this equipment could cause an explosion that may result in
equipment damage, personnel injury or possible death.

1.6.1. Warranties

Seller warrants that each item of its own manufacture delivered hereunder shall, at the time of
delivery and for a period of twelve (12) months thereafter, be free from defects in materials and

sealed jars of water, alcohol, kerosene, oil and paper. See design

workmanship; and if any such item shall prove to be defective in material or workmanship under
normal intended usage and maintenance during the warranty period, upon examination by Seller
or its authorized representative, then Seller shall repair or replace, at its sole option, such
defective item at its own expense; provided however, that the Buyer shall be required to ship each
such defective item freight prepaid to Seller’s plant. The warranty on components not
manufactured by Seller, but a part of Seller’s systems, is limited to the warranty provided by the
original manufacturer of said components to the extent, and only to the extent, that such original
manufacturer actually honors such warranty. (Seller having no independent obligation as to such
warranty.)
1.6.2. Warranty Disclaimer
THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES GIVEN
BY SELLER IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND
SELLER DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SELLER DOES NOT PROMISE THAT THE PRODUCT IS
ERROR FREE OR WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. ALL WARRANTIES ARE
EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE ITEMS AS
SET FORTH HEREINABOVE, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR
SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES BY REASON OF ANY BREACH
OF WARRANTY OR DEFECT IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal
laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
