Dissipative Vinyl Three-Layer Mats
and Rolls (Premium Performance)
3M Mats and Rolls 8200 Series are soft table and floor mats with a
unique three-layer construction. The top layer is durable static dissipative
vinyl, which has sufficiently low resistance to discharge static-laden
conductors, yet will prevent the shorting of pins on the backs of printed
circuit boards laid on the mat. The middle layer is a highly conductive
scrim that provides the main discharge path to ground, and the bottom
layer is static dissipative foam, providing a durable nonskid cushion.
Non-standard sizes are available on a custom order basis. Compatible
with constant monitors.

Ultra-R2 Rubber — Two Layer
(Standard Performance)
Excellent resistance to solvents, hot solder and soldering irons makes
the Ultra-R2 mats an excellent static safe work surface. Excellent
electrical performance is provided by using a two-layer combination
of static dissipative and conductive rubber materials. Ultra-R2 mats
combine the low contact resistance and convenience of soft mats,
and the conductivity and durability of hard laminates. Meets the
requirements of ESD Standard 4.1, ESD Standard 20.20, EIA 625,

This three-layer vinyl mat provides excellent electrical properties.
The top layer is tough, easy to clean, dissipative vinyl. The center layer,
a highly conductive metal scrim, moves the charge from the surface
to ground quickly. The bottom layer is a durable, non-skid cushion of
dissipative foam. While not as durable as the two-layer rubber material,
this three-layer vinyl is designed to be cost effective. Meets the
requirements of ESD Standard 4.1, ESD Standard 20.20, EIA 625,
MIL-HDBK-263, and MIL-STD-1686. Rtg: 10
