1.4.13 Lubrication of Rotary Turret
The following describes how to supply oil to the rotary turret.
Oil must be replaced after initial 500 hours and every 6,000 hours for
subsequent use.
(1) Detach the upper cover and open the front door.
(2) Pull out the oil outlet hose from the machine and discharge the old
oil into the container.
Do not apply any air pressure to the internal area of the rotary
turret while oil is being discharged. Otherwise, oil may leak
out of the sealed section of the rotary turret.
(3) Take one of the following two methods to supply oil.
1. Detach the reinforcement frame located at the upper area of the
oil inlet, open Oil Inlet 1, and supply oil from the inlet.
2. Detach the oil nut (M14 nut located on the gear box) of Oil Inlet 2
and supply oil from the opening.

(4) After the oil has been supplied, confirm that the oil nut is tightened
securely. Then, close the front door and attach the upper cover.
(5) Turn on the power supply to let the oil circulate for approx. 5 min-
utes. After that, turn off the power supply.
When the power supply is set to "ON", the pump in the cool-
ing section is activated to let the oil circulate.
(6) Detach the upper cover again and open the front door.
(7) Keep the machine intact for approximately 30 minutes. After that,
check the oil gauge if the oil level is near the center of the red circle.
If the oil is not supplied enough, replenish the oil supply. If too much
oil is supplied, drain the excess oil from the oil outlet of the rotary
turret.

(8) After the oil level is adjusted, wrap a seal tape around the oil nut and
retighten the nut.
(9) Confirm that no oil is oozing out of the oil nut.
When no oil is oozing out, attach the overhead cover firmly with the
screws.

Approximately 14 liters of oil is required for the whole area,
including approximately 11 liters of oil for the area between the
rotary turret and the cooling section.
The following oil quantities are required for the other sections.
Oil Filter : Approx. 400 cc (0.4 liters)
Cooling Section : Approx. 1 liter
Rotary Turret Section : Approx. 10 liters
Cam Box (Separate Container) : Approx. 2.2 liters
