We are grateful to you for purchasing Hitachi direct-drive turret mounter (chip mounter).
This instruction manual describes the functions, handling, and operations of the machine
for those who have finished the basic training of the chip mounter.
Before operating the machine, please read this instruction manual carefully to fully
understand the instructions and precautionary measures for safety purposes.
After reading through this manual, please use this manual as an occasional reference and
keep it within reach.

This instruction manual is divided into the following six volumes (booklets) on subjective
basis.
Volume 1: Operation (Operator)
This describes the fundamentals for those who read this
instruction manual and use the component placement machine
for the first time.
Coverage: This covers the checking items, the safety
precautions, the scope of the machine, the
preparatory and ending procedures of automatic
operation, and the troubleshooting on simple errors.
Volume 2: Operation (Supervisor)
This describes the general items related to machine operations
for those who have learned how to operate the machine.
Coverage: This covers the checking items, the safety
precautions, the specifications and functions of the
machine, various menus related to the program
change, automatic operations, and maintenance.
Volume 3: Programming and Machine Data
This describes various data for a programmer (s) who creates
pattern programs and a supervisor who must understand the
meanings of various data.
Coverage: This covers the checking items, the safety
precautions, the various data such as pattern
program, component library data and the menus for
production control and system settings.
Volume 4: Maintenance and Troubleshooting
This describes periodic maintenance operations, troubleshooting,
etc., for those who use this machine.
Coverage: This covers the checking items, the safety
precautions, periodic maintenance operations, the
list of consumables and servicing parts,
troubleshooting on simple errors, and the remedial
measures affer "ERROR" window.
