Only qualified personnel should perform maintenance work carefully in
compliance with the specified procedures.
WARNING
Before maintenance work, be sure to lock the power breaker and
the main valve section (air source) with padlocks.
If maintenance work is performed with the machine powered, a major
injury or a damage might be caused due to a malfunction of the ma-
chine or an unexpected operation by the third party.
After the end of maintenance work, be sure to attach the machine cover.
Designate a person who can have charge of the padlock key.

1.2 Preparation for Maintenance
1.2.1 Preparation for Cleaning
Prepare the following items for cleaning.
Brush
Use a brush whose bristles do not come off if possible.
Cotton Swab
Use a normal cotton swab on the market.
Rag
Use a rag which does not produce as less waste thread as possible.
Otherwise, the machine will break down due to the remaining waste
thread.
A clean rag is also required, depending on the spots to be cleaned.
Oiled Rag
Use an oiled rag which does not produce as less waste thread as
possible. Otherwise, the machine will break down due to the remain-
ing waste thread.
Note: Do not apply too much oil to the rag. The oil should not be
mixed with another type.
Air Gun
Do not use the air gun for any other places than the specified ones.
If dirt and dust are dispersed, they adhere to various sensors, caus-
ing the machine to break down.
Vacuum Cleaner
Note: If the suction hole of the vacuum cleaner is changed to a
smaller one, some spots can be cleaned more easily.
Cleaning Paper
Use the standard accessory part.
Lens Cleaning Cloth
Use the standard accessory part.
1.2.2 Preparation for Lubrication
Prepare the specified grease, oil, and items for lubrication.
Specified Grease and Oil
Refer to "(1) Grease and Oil" for details.
Before lubrication, wipe off the old grease and oil.
