1.2 Operational Safety
1.2.1 Warning Labels
High temperatures around the camera
CAUTION
Hot surface warning
The camera may be hot. Be careful when touching the BulkFeeder X.
1.2.2 Feeder Handling
Base Unit
Carry the Base Unit in the handle (1). ►
NOTICE
Only move the Base Unit with installed Cartridge.
As the weight is nearly 6.5 kg, it may be necessary to carry the Base Unit with both
hands.
Pick the Base Unit in the handle with one hand and at the front side (close to the EDIF and ►
front centering pin) with the other hand.
Do not touch the gap on the side panels where the camera is installed. The camera might get ►
out of place.
Treat the Base Unit carefully. ►
The Base Unit is equipped with a small foot on the side of the 3rd track. Thus, it can be put down
standing on the table. However, due to the small support base it is safer to lay it down on the side
on a smooth surface.
Do NOT throw, drop or overbalance the Base Unit.

NOTICE
Bright LEDs are installed in the SIPLACE BulkFeeder X. These are classified in the risk
group 1 in accordance with IEC 62471:2006.

Please observe your national statutory provisions for waste disposal and ►

1.3.2 Use of Original SIPLACE Accessories and Spare Parts
Only use original spare parts and authorized accessories. The use of other parts will affect safety
and will invalidate the liability for any consequential damage.
