Changing the Oil for Indexing Device [3000 Hours (500 Hours at the First Time)]
The operation is carried out at the rear side of machine.
1. Turn off the power.
2. Open the rear center safety cover and
upper cover.
3. Remove the cap of filler opening.
4. Set the oil receiver under the waste
opening.
5. Remove the plug (PT 3/8) for waste
opening with a wrench.
6. Open the cock and empty the oil
receiver.
7. After casting off oil, close the cock
and plug for the waste opening.
8. Fill the oil through the filler opening.
(Oil : SYNTHESO HT220)
∗ Fill oil until it reaches to the middle of window.
9. Close the cap for the filler opening.
∗ After operation, check for oil leakage.

This section describes exchanging the vacuum change valves.
1. Turn off the power.
2. Open the front safety cover.
3. Remove the cover of main axis with a
cross screw driver.
4. Remove the yellow connector con-
nected with vacuum change valve
from the head theta motor board.

5. Remove the vacuum change valve.
∗ Loosen bolts (M3) with a hexagonal wrench.
6. Set a new vacuum change valve and
connect the connector.
7. Set the cover of main axis with a
cross screw driver.
∗ Check the proper setting at “Checking the
vacuum pressure at the tip of nozzle,” after
changing valves.
