Changing the Consumable Parts Every 1500 to 6000 Hours
1-7-10 Changing the Vacuum Pumps [6000 Hours]
The vacuum pump is under B stage.
1. Turn off the power.
2. Remove two kinds of covers at the
bottom of rear side of B stage.
3. Remove the vacuum pump from the
machine.
∗ Loosen the 2 bolts fixing the vacuum pump.
4. Remove wiring and air hose.
∗ Set them following to the removing procedure
in the reverse order.
∗ Check the vacuum pressure higher than
- 93.3kPa after changing them.

1-7-11 Changing the Bearings of Elevating Unit (6000 hours)
In cleaning and checking the transfer head, if the bearing of elevating unit gets brown or it does not
rotate smoothly, change it.
1. Remove 2 of M4 bolts and the hous-
ing.
2. Apply grease to the bearing and set it
to the housing.
[Oil : BARRIERTA IEL/V]
[Bearing type : A-2520 (NMB)]
3. Put the housing and holder together
and settle them temporally with 2 of
M4 bolts from the bottom.
∗ Set the housing so that it can be moved slightly.
4. After putting together the pin of
holder and hole of jig in such way as
setting the transfer head, settle the
bolt securely.

The following consumable parts are to be changed by the service man of KME. When it comes to
the period for change, make contact with us.
1. Elevating unit cam follower
2. Timing belt
3. Pickup and mount upper and lower barrels
4. SRAM battery
