4. Setting the nozzles
1. Clean the nozzle retraction part of
transfer head with a cotton bud.
2. Insert the nozzle to the transfer head
retraction part, and moves up and
down several times.
Check smooth movement.
3. Set the nozzle.
When using the jig for attaching and detaching
a nozzle, you can attach a nozzle easily.
To prevent the guide from rising with nozzles
held up, press the guide with a finger.
Insert the nozzle and rotate by 90˚, and set it
so that the hole on the side of nozzle comes to
the outside of transfer head.

8. Open the rear center safety cover.
9. Repeat the procedures 1 to 8 of “Set-
ting Nozzle,” and set the nozzle to all
transfer heads.
In cleaning other type of nozzle in succession,
start the operation from the procedure 4
“Removing the Nozzle.”

5. Checking Nozzle Settings
After removing and setting nozzles, check the arrangement of them.
The machine has the function to find the nozzle which may be arranged wrong. This is done by
recognizing the nozzle after nozzle setting, and judging that the nozzle matches to that arrange-
ment by the diameter. At the same time, the nozzle appearing on the screen can be checked one
by one visually.
When only specified nozzles are removed and set, “Checking nozzle settings” can be omitted.
1. Close the rear center safety cover.
2. Press Nozl set chk .
3. Turn on the servo switch.
