1.2 New in This Version …
This section contains a short overview of the most important changes in the current software
version.
● Clearing Pool (see section 4.4)
– The previously "technical" content of the change notifications has been substituted by
significant descriptions of the actions that have been actually performed in SIPLACE Pro
Desk or at the machine.
– The changes made by a user can now be definitely assigned to the edited objects (Editors,
so called context objects) in SIPLACE Pro Desk.
● Enhanced filter rules (see section 4.8)
Preinstalled or enhanced customized filter rules can be used to edit the change notifications.
These filter rules contain search criteria for filtering the change notifications and actions
containing definitions for the treatment of the found change messages.
The change notifications are automatically filtered according to these rules and are processed
according to relevance and content.

New icons are available in order to run the single EDM V2.1 components:

2.1 Software Components
The supplied data medium contains:

2.2 Languages
The standard package contains German, English and Chinese (Simplified) versions.

3 Requirements
The software and system requirements for SIPLACE EDM 2.1 broadly correspond to those for
SIPLACE Pro 10.1.
The Support Media DVD included in the installation package checks the necessary system
requirements of your system and installs these. Amongst others e.g. Microsoft .NET Framework,
the License Manager and the Error Reporting tool.
The use of the Support Media V1.14 is obligatory.
