8.1.5 Pallet Pass Through Check Sensor

1. Press [SET] → [MANUAL] → [I/O] → [STANDARD I/O] → [OUTPUT]

and turn on Y04E P.IN RSFT to move the 10 mm shift cylinder to the

forward end position.

2. Place a pallet against the 10 mm shift cylinder.

3. Move the sensor to the position where the pass-through check sensor

senses the pallet.

4. Move the sensor 1 mm to the left. The sensor must turn ON at this

position.

5. Ensure that the right edge of the pass-through check sensor is not

beyond the right edge of the IN- pallet loader. If so, shift it to the left.

6. Turn off Y04E P.IN RSFT to return the pallet and check that the sensor is

not interrupted. Adjust the sensor’s sensitivity later when pallets are

loaded onto the machine.

8.1.6 Pallet Shift

1. Adjust the forward end speed controller of the pallet OUT cylinder to 4.5

turns from the fully closed position.

2. Press [SET] → [MANUAL] → [I/O] → [STANDARD I/O] → [OUTPUT]

and turn on Y04B P.IN PLT BWD to move the IN- pallet shift cylinder to

the backward end.

3. Place a pallet against the 10 mm shift cylinder.

4. Turn on Y04C P.IN UCLP to unclamp the IN- pallet loader clamp.

5. Turn off Y04E P.IN PLT RSFT to move the 10 mm shift cylinder to the

backward end.

6. Remove the top cover of the return conveyor.

7. Remove the air hose connected to the solenoid valve.

8. Adjust the forward end bracket so that the pallet holder will be in

contact with the 10 mm shift cylinder stopper when the cylinder is

advanced.
