1.2 System Requirements
The Support Media included in the installation package checks the necessary system require-
ments of your system and installs these. Amongst others e.g. Microsoft .NET Framework, the Li-
cense Manager and the Error Reporting tool. 1
The use of the Support Media 2.11 is obligatory. 1
The system requirements (supported operating systems and database variants) and an overview
of the interoperable products can be found in the ASM Support Media Installation Manual. 1

SIPLACE Explorer provides various installation variants for the different components: 1
– Factory Layout Central Installation (CI)
– Factory Layout Distributed Installation (DI)
– Single Line Layout
We recommend that you use one of these installation variants for your system. For a detailed de-
