Clean/inspect additional volume filter 10

Keep one hand underneath while unscrewing the cap to catch the filter if it falls. 10

a Unscrew the union nut and pull the compressed air hose off.
The additional volume filter will drop out.

: Clean the filter by carefully blowing it out with compressed air.
: Check the filter fo
r damage.
If it is damaged replace it with a new one.

s Insert the filter once more and tighten the union nut.
d Make sure that the compressed air hose can move free
ly when the Z axis moves, that it is not
jammed at any point and does not obstruct the Z axis.

a Undo the Z axis damper grub screw.
s Carefully pull down the damper and unscrew it.

The damper rubber and nut are bonded together. If there is too much friction the damper rubber
could separate from the nut. 10

: Carefully pull the Z axis downwards.

d Carefully clean the scale using a lint-free cloth moistened with ethyl alcohol.

Only use a little ethyl alcohol and do not press too hard, otherwise the glued-on scale may become
detached. 10
