The complete range of placement functions is described in Chapter 3 of this User’s Manual.
l Set-up
The set-up is shown separately for each location. Use the "Set-up check with barcode“ button to activate refill-
ing with the barcode reader or switch on the barcode reader directly. The Set-up check with barcode“ option
must have been configured on the line computer before you can do this.
l Errors
Errors are displayed in various error lists, sorted by type. There are 4 error lists: track errors, transport errors,
machine errors and general errors.
The last error to occur is shown at the top of the table. Identical errors are incremented in error counters.
l Component feeder systems
In the "Component feeder systems“ submenu, you can use empty tracks and fill levels for linear feeders, mag-
azines and wafflepack changers at all locations.

2.4.3.3 Single Functions
The Single functions are the gantry functions and transport functions.
The Single functions are used to execute certain actions after fatal errors and for setting up and testing the
automatic placement machine. The Single functions are also used to activate various functional modules in a
predefined manner.
PLEASE NOTE
The complete range of Single functions is described in Chapter 4 of this User’s Manual.
l Gantry functions
The "Gantry functions“ menu is used to execute various functions at the gantry under consideration.
For the head functions, it is important to differentiate between the SIPLACE 80S20 and the F

The SIPLACE 80S20 has two gantries, each with a 12-segment star head, that can be activated separately
(buttons for gantry 1 and gantry 2). The functions are identical.
The Siplace 80F
4
has one gantry with a 12-segment star head and an IC head, which can both be activated
separately, although their functions are different.
The Siplace 80F

-6/F
5
has one gantry with a 6-segment star head and an IC head, which can both be acti-
vated separately, although their functions are different.
l Transport functions 1
The transport functions are used for checking and setting the functional modules of the PCB conveyor and for
adjusting the transport width.
