Identifying correct splicing.

1. If the tape is spliced correctly, the prongs of the rivet

will be visible

2. Top side of a feeder tape (8mm)

3. Bottom side of a feeder tape (8mm)

4. Top side of a feeder tape (24mm)

1. Wrap the excess tape onto the new reel.

2. Place the reel into the table reel holder bin.

Cleaning Tasks

1. Check the cover tape holder on the feeders and

remove any excessive tape.

2. Empty the cover tape holders on several feeders

each time you perform the task.

3. Empty the waste tape bins under the tables regularly.

4. Whenever there is a short break in production take

the chance to carefully vacuum around the feeders to

remove any loose components.

NOTICE! Use the in built cutter to cut the tapes.

Check the cover tape holders regularly at the line –

minimum each time you splice a reel.
