SQUEEGEES
Fitting the
Squeegees
From the status page:
1. Press Setup (F6).
2. Press Setup Squeegee (F4).
3. Press Change Squeegee (F1).
The message ‘Open cover and change squeegees’ is displayed.
4. Raise the printhead cover.
The front and rear squeegees must be fitted in the correct positions. Each
squeegee has a key-way machined into it to ensure that it cannot be
incorrectly fitted.
5. Fit the rear squeegee onto the rear squeegee mount tightening the thumb-
screws until they are finger tight.
6. Fit the front squeegee onto the front squeegee mount again ensuring that
the thumbscrews are only finger tight.
7. Lower the printhead cover.
8. Press the System button.
9. Press Continue (F1).
10. If fitted, remove stencil.

Carry out the following calibration following squeegee change.
1. Select Calibrat Heights (F2).
The message ‘Remove Screen Before Commencing Pressure Calibra-
tion’ is displayed.
2. Press Exit (F8).
3. Press Change Screen (F5).
The message ‘Open Cover and Remove Screen’ is displayed.
4. Raise the printhead cover.
5. Toggle screen clamp switch to the UP position (OFF) (standard chase only).
6. Remove the stencil from the machine.
7. Lower the printhead cover.
8. Press the System button.
9. Press Setup Squeegee (F4).
10. Press Calibrat Heights (F2).
The message ‘Ensure that the Correct Squeegees are fitted ’is dis-
played.

11. Press Continue (F1).
The message ‘Set Squeegee Pressure Height’ is displayed.
Either:
12. Press Adjust (F2).
The following window is displayed:
13. Using Next, Previous, Incr. and Decr. (F4, F5, F6 and F7) enter the
squeegee heights parameters as necessary.
14. Press Exit (F8).
15. Press Save (F3).
OR:
16. Using Step Up and Step Down (F6 and F7) as necessary to raise or lower
the front squeegee until it just touches the front rail.
17. Press Rear Squeegee (F5).
