17
You will need a waste bin and a vacuum cleaner for the cleaning tasks carried out every shift.
To minimize downtimes, carry out the cleaning work in the order shown in the diagram.
: Press the Hold button on the first station while the gantry is over the placement position.
This will leave your working area clear.
: Open the protective cover.
Empty reject container
a Remove the reject container and empty it into the collecting container.
12
We recommend that you empty the reject container after every shift. In this way, you will be able
to tell if a certain component is frequently rejected. Use the track error menu or MaDaMaS to de-
termine the cause (pick-up reliability).
s Clean around the reject container position with the vacuum cleaner and replace the container.
12
There should be no components lying around inside the placement system since they could cause
malfunctions if they come between moving parts.
Clean nozzle changer
Keep the vacuum cleaner hose at least 1 cm away from the nozzles to prevent any damage to the
nozzles.
12
d Clean the nozzle changer of the Collect&Place head with the vacuum cleaner.
12
There should be no components lying around near the nozzle changer since they could prevent
the nozzles being picked up and set down correctly.
