The license check is performed: Result if the license is missing:
When the MES callback functionality is
activated for a line with Enable Download
Verification
An error message is displayed but the MES
callback functionality is activated.
When the MES callback functionality is
activated for a line with Enable Device
triggered Recipe Verifications (DEK Printer)
An error message is displayed but the MES
callback functionality is activated.
Just before each MES callback The MES callback will not be performed and the
download will be aborted.
Just before each MES VerifyRecipe callback The MES VerifyRecipe callback will not be
performed and the recipe will not be activated
on the DEK Printer.

4.8 Increased Number of Custom Nozzles
The number ranges for custom nozzles have been extended as follows:
Additional range 4700 4999 for 40xx nozzles of the C&P20 P placement head.
Additional range 2500 2799 for 20xx nozzles of the CPP placement head.
Additional range 2900 2999 for 28xx nozzles of the CPP placement head.
4.9 Improved Handling of High Components in Trays
An overall tray height has been introduced in SIPLACE Pro for the tray reserve type. The user can
now specify trays in which the components are located in deep pockets in the Waffle Pack Tray
Editor.
The new Overall Height attribute will be sent to stations with station software version >= 710.
4.10 Nozzle Tip Displayed At Pickup Location
The nozzle tip is now displayed as an overlay in the component shape drawing when the pickup
location is taught at the station. At download, Line Control sends additional information about the
nozzle tip to stations with station software version >= 710 for each nozzle setup on the station. The
operator can change the pickup point at the station and upload the changes into the SIPLACE Pro
database.

4.11 Miscellaneous Features
The Heavy Board Option Line Connection floating license will not be checked any more in the
Line Control Server. This applies to all station versions.
The SIPLACE Pro for DEK printer feature is not fully supported in this SIPLACE Pro version.
The recipe download from Line Control is not yet permitted.
The BMC AppSight Windows Black Box Service recording tool is not supported anymore. The
tool itself will not be automatically deleted from existing systems. It has to be manually
uninstalled.

5 Restrictions
In the following, existing restrictions in SIPLACE Pro are described.
Miscellaneous
10-fold and 15-fold stick magazines cannot be combined on the same linear feeder.
SIPLACE Pro object names (e.g., recipe) must not exceed 125 ASCII characters (including
folder names). If the station software is 504 or older, these names are shortened to 20 ASCII
characters.
If various users optimize the same job at the same time, the job which was most recently
completed successfully will overwrite all corresponding recipes
The operator must manually place manual tray carriers (Carrier 30, Carrier 51, Carrier X,
Carrier SX, Arbitrary Carrier), glue feeders and dip modules in the initial setup.
If you work with reduced acceleration for a component shape, this is seen as a "special case"
and the accuracy of 5% for the simulated Optimizer production time will not be achieved.
The Optimizer does not check if the tray size is bigger than the carrier.
The WPC can take up to 10 different component types per level. This restriction does not apply
for machines from station software version 70x.
Station-wise Download
It is not possible to switch over from dual lane conveyor in asynchronous transport mode to
dual lane conveyor in synchronous transport mode (and vice versa) in combination with station-
wise download.
When the line control server is rebooted, station-wise downloading will be canceled. After
rebooting, you will need to perform a complete line download to restart production.
Station-wise downloading supports setup changes in asynchronous dual operation only when
you have the same definition for both lanes.
Station-wise downloading supports synchronous dual operation as of station software version
704.
ASCII Centroid Import
If component shapes are selected in the ASCII Centroid Import Wizard, all the existing links
between components and component shapes will be overwritten with the imported information.
WPC5 / WPC6
Components up to a height of 30mm can be placed with a force of 70N with the WPC5 as of
serial number 1485 and the WPC6 as of serial number C1486 only.
Components up to a height of 40mm can be placed with the WPC5 as of serial number B3000
and the WPC6 as of serial number C3000.
Due to the refill module, components > 25mm cannot be positioned on the levels 1 3 and
2728 on the WPC6. The levels 4 28 will be set up automatically by the SIPLACE Pro
Optimizer. The levels 1 3 have to be blocked manually by the operator.
If a pin picker is installed on the X4i S placement machine, the maximum board length is
410mm.
