Fixate the cables with a cable tie. Carefully place
the connectors within the cable tie as shown in
the picture. The ending of the cable tie must be
in exactly this corner.
Step 7
To measure the belt tension, move the gripper in
a rectangular position.

Measure the tension as shown in the picture.
Required tension for the Z belt is
400 Hz ± 5 Hz
If the tension is not within the limits, loosen the
locking screw below the gripper. Then, setup the
new tension by turning the black tensioning
screw accordingly. (increase tension by turning
clockwise)
Tighten the locking screw below the gripper and
measure the tension again.
Repeat this step until the tension is within the
limits.

Step 8
Remove all tools and close the doors of the machine.
Plug in the power connector and switch on the machine.
Initialize the machine by means of the software.

Calibration calibrate the R axis and follow
the instructions given by the software.

7.3.1 Introduction
This modification instruction describes how to change the motor of the gripper rotation axis on
SIPLACE Material Tower.
