1.5 Safety Labels Attached to System
Personnel must be familiar with all the warning symbols and decals fitted to the equipment. Failure
to recognize a warning and understand the associated safety instructions may result in injury or
death.
Note:
Check periodically the existence of safety labels on the equipment. Replace damaged or
mi
ssing labels immediately.
1.5.1 Meaning of the Safety Labels
The following symbols and decals are used on the machine:
Moving Parts, Keep Hands Out
Indicates that moving parts in this area can cause minor injury. Keep
hands out before start storing or providing.
Electrical Hazards / Hazardous Voltage
Indicates an electrical hazard. Contact may cause electric shock or burn.
The machine must be switched off and unplugged before removing
any cover with this decal on it.
CE mark for SIPLACE Material Tower
The CE marking is a key indicator of a product's compliance with EU
legislation.
Electrical Plate for SIPLACE Material Tower
The electrical plate states details of the power supply unit such as the
supply voltage and the necessary fuse protection (power mains) for the
SIPLACE Material Tower.
Disconnect the Mains Supply before working on the Device
Indicates that the machine has to be disconnected from the mains
supply before opening the service doors.

1.5.2 Danger Zones and Location of Safety Labels
The danger zones are marked with safety labels on the equipment.
Bruising Zones
The revolving door of the portal starts opening
or closing when providing or storing.
Before starting these functions prevent any
contact with the revolving door.
Check that the safety label indicating 'MOVING
PARTS' is properly in place. A total of 1 la
bel is
attached (see picture):
Opening the maintenance access doors uncover
the various axes.
Before opening the doors, the main switch has
to be switched off and locked.
Check that the safety label indicating 'MOVING
PARTS' is properly in place. A total of 2 labels are
attached, one on cabinet door left side of the
machine (1) and one on cabinet
door right side
of the machine (2), see picture.
Electrical and Electronic Zones
Hazardous voltage. Contact will cause electric shock, burn or death.
The equipment must be disconnected (unplugged) from the main electrical power supply before
opening the service doors and before removing the insulating cap of the power inlet and before
any manipulations on electrical and electronic units.

'DISCONNECT MAINS SUPPLY BEFORE WORKING
ON THE DEVICE' are properly in place. A total of 2
signs are attached (see picture):
Check that the safety labels indicating
'HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE' are properly in place. A
total of
8 labels are attached (see picture
sequence):
(1) Cabinet door left side of the machine
(2) Cabinet door right side of the machine
(3) Front left, on the bottom panel (inside) of
the equipment (power inlet)
(4) Line filter, close to the main switch
(5) Main switch 2x
