Step 13

Attach the sealing tape at the top and bottom

edge of each door.

Notes:

• flush fitting length

• pointed edge to the inner side of the door

Alignment as shown on the picture

Attach the sealing tape as well on top of the

portal

frame.

Alignment is not important.

Fit the clamping section on each inner side of

the door.

Fit the clamping section in all 8 edges of the

doorway.

ATTENTION:

On the lower and upper side has to

be a free distance of around 20 mm allowing the

door to close properly!

Step 14 Humidity sensor

CAUTION : Do not touch the humidity sensor

with bare fingers! Use a thin cloth.

Carefully take the humidity sensor out of the

packing.

Push the sensor in the correct slot with the

mirror plate looking down.

It might be helpful to bend the outer legs wi

th a

small pincer.

Step 15

Remove all tools and close the doors of the machine.

Plug in the power connector, connect the compressed air supply and switch on the machine.

Initialize the machine by means of the software.

-initialise the storage unit.

11.2 Substitute Magnetic Valve

11.2.1 Introduction

This modification instruction describes how to substitute the SMC magnetic valve VX250HY of the

Air Dryer Option on SIPLACE Material Tower with the valve VP342K.

Before starting the maintenance, read the Safety instructions carefully.
