Fasten the five screws that are retaining the belt
tensioner.
Fasten the screw of the coupling using a torque
key adjusted on 2.5 Newton.

Y Belt
Required tension for a used Y belt is
115 Hz ± 2
Hz
. Be aware that a new belt is setup to 120 Hz.
Measure the belt tension with the gr
ipper being
on the far left side. Measure in the middle of the
rear belt.
If the tension is outside the limits, proceed
with the setup steps below, else go to the
next axis.
At the right side of the Y axis, slightly loose the
screws of the pulley.
Setup the tension by turning the screw of
the
pulley.

Use Loctite on all screws.
Once the tension of the belt is correct, fix the
pulley by tightening the screws from below.
Z Belt
Lift the Y axis to the height where you can
measure 1m between the beginning of the belt
holding and the middle of the lower pulley.
Requ
ired tension for the Z belt is 35 Hz ± 1 Hz
Measure the belt tension approximately in the
middle of the measuring distance.
If the tension is outside the limits, proceed
with the setup steps below, else go to the
next axis.
