Use Loctite on all screws.
Once the tension of the belt is correct, fix the
pulley by tightening the screws from below.
Z Belt
Lift the Y axis to the height where you can
measure 1m between the beginning of the belt
holding and the middle of the lower pulley.
Requ
ired tension for the Z belt is 35 Hz ± 1 Hz
Measure the belt tension approximately in the
middle of the measuring distance.
If the tension is outside the limits, proceed
with the setup steps below, else go to the
next axis.

Loosen the 4 lower screws a bit (green
rectangle). They must be movable but not very
loose.
Turn the belt tension screw accordingly to
achieve the correct tension, as shown in the
picture.
Use Loctite on all screws.
If the correct tension has been achieved,
strongly fasten the 4 lower screws (green
rectangle).

R Belt
To measure the belt tension, move the gripper in
a rectangular position.
Measure the tension as shown in the picture.
Required tension for th
e Z belt is 400 Hz ± 5 Hz
If the tension is outside the limits, proceed
with the setup steps below, else this chapter
is finished.
