Error Handling at the Station
The following error events may occur at the station after measurement:
1. No Vision measurement result available because:
the bottom component is missing
the bottom component is outside the search area
the fiducial is incomplete
2. Measured bottom component position exceeds the tolerance.
In the first case, the operator will be prompted to teach the fiducial and repeat the measurement.
In the second case, a detailed error dialog displays the Vision image and the measured X, Y and
angle values of the bottom component. The current tolerance of the bottom component position is
displayed as well.
The operator can select between the following options:
Skip placement of panel
i.e., skip placement of the remaining components of the panel to which the bottom component
belongs.
Ignore result and continue with placement in panel
i.e., place the SIM card holder although the tolerance is exceeded.
5.8 Using Two Dip Modules for Dipping
Compatible mode: Complete
If two LDU dip modules are positioned on the same table and have the same type of flux medium
and same cavity depth, the station software uses both dip modules to dip components. The
components of one head-cycle are distributed on both dip modules.
5.9 Enhanced FCCS Tool
Compatible mode: Complete
The FCCS tool has been enhanced to support camera verification of the SST47 and SST25
camera types in combination with the CPP placement head.

5.10 Enhanced SIPLACE Vision Functionality
NOTICE
Detailed information on the SIPLACE Vision functions can be found in the online help of
the station software.
SIPLACE Vision has been enhanced as follows:
The QR barcode type is supported. All QR barcodes of the 18004 ISO/IEC norm with format
Model 2 are supported.
Compatible mode: Compatible
To avoid that an incorrect barcode is read for traceability purposes, the user can define
conditions for the barcode in the Vision system. If a barcode does not fulfill all conditions, the
Vision system looks for another barcode with valid conditions in the region of interest. The
conditions are saved in SIPLACE Pro.
Compatible mode: Hidden
The Component Shape wizard supports teaching groups and regular grids of THT round pins
and THT square pins.
Compatible mode: Compatible
The new SST48 and SST49 camera types are supported. Please also refer to section 4.3.
Compatible mode: Hidden
Improved display of measuring steps on the GUI.
