3.9.1 Overview
ManualDistancemode(“ManualDist”)isidenticalto“AutomaticDistance”mode(seesection
3.8above)exceptthateachstepmustbemanuallyadvanced.Thisisusefulforapplications
wherethecamera,subject,dye,ormaterialmayhaveavariableamountoftimebeforethe
nextpictureisdesired.Thismodeisgearedtoward specializedapplicationsandwewould
recommendtheuseof“AutomaticDistance”undermostcircumstances.
3.9.2 Advancingtherail
Afterthestartandstoppointshavebeenselectedlikeinthe“AutomaticDistance”mode,the
railwillautomaticallymovetothestartpointandtakethefirstpicture(orpictures).Oncethe
“Toff”timeexpiresyouwillseethefollowing:

3.10.1 Overview
Inthisoperatingmode(“TotalDist”)youcanselectthetotaldistancetherailw illtravelandthe
numberofstepstouseinthatgivendistance.Tonavigatethroughtheoptions,pressthe
SELECTbutton.
3.10.2 NumberofSteps
The“#Steps”optionfunctionsidenticallytothe“AutomaticStep”mode.Itisthenumberof
steps(movementsoftherail)inthespecifieddistancebelow.UsetheUP/DOWNbuttonsto
adjustthenumberofstepsdesired.
