1.4.1.1 Accuracy class 25 µm / 20 µm
The SIPLACE TX 2 micron and SIPLACE TX 2i micron placement machines facilitate placement
accuracy of 20 µm or 25 µm at 3
σ. The following components from the SIPLACE TX micron are
used:
SIPLACE SpeedStar C&P20 M2
SIPLACE MultiStar CPP M
Highly rigid board conveyor
High-resolution glass scales on the gantry and Y axis
Additional fiducial rail in X direction for cyclical calibration of the placement machine
SIPLACE Pro setting in the Component Shape Editor (placement accuracy => high =>
20 µm or 25 µm).
1.4.1.2 Accuracy class 15 µm
The SIPLACE TX2i micron 15µm placement machine facilitates placement accuracy of up to 15
µm at 3
σ. The following components and settings from the SIPLACE TX micron are used:
SIPLACE SpeedStar C&P20 M2
Highly rigid board conveyor
High-resolution glass scales on the gantry and Y axis
Additional fiducial rail in X direction for cyclical calibration of the placement machine
SIPLACE Pro setting in the Component Shape Editor (placement accuracy => high =>
15 µm).
Conveyor mode I-Placement
Mechanical stabilization of board with additional vacuum tool and fiducial rail in the Y direc-
tion.

The vacuum tool with fiducial rail must be produced according to ASM specifications.
