This glossary defines terms and acronyms used in
this manual as they relate to the PSV7000
Programmers.
A
Alphabetical
8P8C ~
8 Position 8 Contact (also 8 position 8 conductor; it is often incorrectly called
RJ45).
Access door ~
Large sheet-steel hinged panels with latches on most sides of the machine. See
also, safety door, and Cabinet panels.
Actuator Plate ~
A plate that opens a socket(s) for loading a device(s).
AH700( ~
The Software for operating PSV7000 Systems. Also, a folder on the C: drive in
Handler computer.
Air regulator ~
a valve which reduces the pressure of the incoming air to a set value.
algorithm ~
A software file containing specific step-by-step calculations required by the pro-
grammer to program a device.

APS ~ Annual Programmer Support contract
