A table is avail
able that lists all commands enabled by each application module
(See page H-1, List of Beta Commands and Features.)
For I

C or SPI bus signals, install the DPO4EMBD application module,
except for M
DO3000 models, which require MDO3EMBD.
For RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, or UART bus signals, install the DPO4COMP
module, except for MDO3000 models, which require MDO3AUDIO.
For I
2
S, Left Justified (LJ), Right Justified (RJ), or TDM bus signals, install
the DPO4AUDIO module, except for MDO3000 models, which require
MDO3AUDIO.
For CAN, CAN FD, or LIN bus signals, install the DPO4AUTO or
DPO4AUTOMAX module, except for MDO3000 models, which require

MDO3000 models, which require MDO3FLEX.
For Ethernet signals, when tested with the MDO4000/B/C and
MSO/DPO4000B, install the DPO4ENET module. Note that ≥350 MHz
bandwidth models are recommended for 100BASE-TX.
For MIL-STD-1553 or ARINC429 bus signals, install the DPO4AERO
module, except for MDO3000 models, which require MDO3AERO.
For USB bus signals, install the DPO4USB module, except for MDO3000
models, which require MDO3USB. Note that 1 GHz bandwidth models are
recommended for high-speed (HS) USB.
For video signals, install the DPO4VID module, except for the MDO3000
models, which do not require a module.
For RF signals (MDO4000/B/C Series only), install the MDO4TRIG module.
Table 2-39: Search Commands
Command Description
SEARCH?
Returns all search-related settings
SEARCH:SEARCH<x>:COPy Copies the search criteria to the trigger, or the trigger criteria to
the search
SEARCH:SEARCH<x>:LIST? This query returns a list of all automatically created search marks
on waveforms in the time domain (leaving out any manually created
marks). These automatic marks are created using a search
command. The entries returned are in the form of an enumeration
representing the source waveform, followed by 7 time mark
parameters.
SEARCH:SEARCH<x>:STATE Sets the search state to on or off
SEARCH:SEARCH<x>:TOTal? Returns the total number of matches for search <x>
SEARCH:SEARCH<x>:TRIGger:A:BUS? Queries the SEARCH:SE ARCH<x>:TRIGger:A:BUS settings.
