4. Enabling hybrid calibration offset measurement
The setting can be enabled in [Module Configuration] - [Calibration Settings]. The
default is "Used".
1. Select [Used] for the [Hybrid calibration] setting.
2. [Send to Machine] transmits the setting to the machine.
3. The setting is enabled only for the specified modules.
Notes:
Ÿ Modules with no parts camera will perform hybrid calibration regardless of what
is set for this setting.
Ÿ When you want to detect foreign objects such as dust attached to the hybrid
calibration jig parts, specify "Used" for the following setting.

5. Conditions
With hybrid calibration offset measurement, autocalibration is performed if any of the
following conditions are true:
Ÿ If a head with a serial number different to that in the memory of the machine is
attached.
Ÿ If a camera with a serial number different to that in the memory of the machine is
attached.
Ÿ If the position of the parts camera is recognized by the machine to be different
from the position in the memory of the machine.
Ÿ If the setting [Module Configuration] - [Placement angle measurement] is
changed from "Used" to "Not used", or from "Not used" to "Used".
Ÿ For M3-2(c), M6-2(c), M3-3(c), M3-3S, M6-3(c), and M6-3L modules, if the
setting [Module Configuration] - [Calibration Settings] - [Hybrid calibration] is
changed from "Used" to "Not used", or from "Not used" to "Used".
(Measurement is not performed again if the setting is changed and then returned
to its original setting before the machine is switched on.)
