Operating Manual 2.1 Safety Information
For any necessary interventions for which sufficiently trained and authorized personnel are not
available in your facility, you must arrange for a service technician of the manufacturer!
The manufacturer will reject any claims for damages or consequential damages resulting from
improper interventions!
If the operator recognises any significant potential dangers during operation of the docking
station for SIPLACE SX changeover tables including its interaction with the SIPLACE
placement system, the operator is obligated to notify the manufacturer in writing without delay
to allow the manufacturer to take corrective measures to reduce the potential danger.
2.1.6.2 For the Safety of Individuals and Operating Personnel
The user of the machine may only perform tasks for which he has been sufficiently trained and
which he fully masters.
The tasks defined in the operating manual for each user role in normal and special mode must
be observed.
Never open any safety door/cover of the docking station for SIPLACE SX changeover tables
or SIPLACE placement system or other adjacent modules, if you are not fully familiar with the
working principles and functions of these machines!

The docking station for SIPLACE SX changeover tables is driven by electricity. Electrical devices
inherently include parts under dangerous voltage during operation!
Prior to any activities that are not part of the normal operation of the docking station for SIPLACE
SX changeover tables, such as servicing, maintenance, and repair, be sure to switch off the
machine at the main power switch and disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
Before any service, maintenance, or repair work, the docking station for SIPLACE SX changeover
tables must be locked with a personal padlock to prevent it from being switched on again at the
main power switch and a corresponding label must be provided. The power cords must be
secured against accidental reconnecting! Afterwards, the necessary work can be performed with
caution.
