Only use original spare parts and authorized accessories. The use of other parts will affect safety
and will invalidate the liability for any consequential damage.

1.2.1 Contents and filing of this user manual
This user manual contains basic information that must be observed when setting up, operating and
maintaining the device. The service engineers, qualified staff, operators and users plus system
owner must therefore read it before commencing installation and commissioning. The manual must
be kept permanently accessible where the device is used.
In addition, the system owner has to ensure that all members of the staff have fully understood the
contents of the user manual.

A thorough knowledge of the relevant part of this user manual is required before carry-
ing out any work on the LDU.
All work must be carried out by appropriately trained and qualified personnel.
All warnings, cautions and hazard notes must be observed.

The following points must be observed in order to maintain operating safety:

Operating safety is only guaranteed if the device is used as prescribed and in accordance with
the instructions in the user manual.
Always follow any safety regulations specific to your country!
Make sure that the warning labels are always clearly identifiable and always easily readable.
Replace any damaged warning or notice labels. Replace any labels that are missing.
The machine key for releasing the covers on the machine must be kept in a safe place where
it is only accessible to qualified personnel.
If it is necessary to work on the machine and you do not have adequately trained personnel
within your operation, always call in a service engineer of ASM Assembly Systems
GmbH&Co.KG. ASM Assembly Systems GmbH & Co. KG does not accept liability for any
damage or consequential damage that is the result of unauthorized/incorrect work.
