In the station software, select the Setup
view(1) and then the Locations area (2).
Select the Table (3) on which the LDU is
set up.
Select the icon of the LDU(1).
Click on the Settings... button (2).
Select the Dipping area tab (1).
If required, enter the desired number of
squeegee movements to be performed in
the Cycles
field.
Click on the Refresh dipping medium
button (3).
The LDU performs the set number of squeegee
movements.
4.18 Logging off and removal
NOTICE
Target group: standard operator
The procedure described is a regular task that can be carried out by any trained operator.
The LDU 2 X will be logged off, unlocked and removed from the placement machine like any X-
feeder module.
CAUTION
Danger of tilting or falling down
The LDU2X can tilt or fall down when handled incorrectly during removal from the
changeover table.
When removing the LDU2X hold it with both hands: take the gripper with one hand
and support the housing with the other hand (see chapter 4.9
"Handling" [}69]).

In the station software, select the Setup
view(1) and then the Locations area (2).
Select the Changeover table (3) on which
the LDU is set up.
Select the icon of the LDU(1).
Click on the Locking button (2) and select
Unlock
.
The LDU will be logged off and unlocked from
the placement machine.
Carefully pull the LDU 2 X backwards by
the handle.
Remove the LDU 2 X with both hands from
the changeover table.
5 Cleaning
5.1 Cleaning agents and tools

5 Cleaning
WARNING
Danger of crushing.
Service mode gives you access to all the movable parts of the LDU.
Do NOT reach into the machine while it is running.
WARNING
Health risk.
The flux and cleaning agents used may contain substances which are hazardous to your
personal health.
Wear your personal protective equipment (coat, glasses, mask, and gloves).
Observe the safety data sheet of the relevant flux.
WARNING
Damage of the LDU by improper disassembly.
A disassembly of the LDU beyond the actions described in this chapter can lead to damage
and may only be handled by specially trained employees.
Remove only those parts which have to be cleaned for proper operation of the LDU.
WARNING
Damage of the LDU by spilled cleaning agents.
The LDU moves during the cleaning process.
Make sure that there are no cleaning agents or tools on the LDU.

5.1 Cleaning agents and tools
Suitable cleaning agents and tools are:
1. Ethanol, isopropyl and water
2. Tub or bowl for cleaning
3. Plastic or wooden scraper
4. Brush
5. Lint-free cleansing tissues
