5.8.9 Vacuum Evaluation and Vacuum Sequences (V3 Topics)
The thresholds for vacuum evaluation (vakuum.ma) are no longer used as absolute values. The threshold is
calculated as a percentage of the vacuum values of the open and closed segment of each nozzle. This
means nozzle-related evaluation of the vacuum is achieved. Refer to the vacuum evaluation documentation
for more information.
5.8.10 ErrorLogger
To allow improved troubleshooting, the various error messages issued by the machine controller are passed
to the ErrorLogger. The log file thus created is evaluated using the Bugreporter and is used for further
problem analysis.
5.8.11 Head Reference Run
From version 407.01 onwards, the optimum position of the Z-axis in relation to the rocker is ascertained by a
second measurement. This considers the entry and exit of a segment from the rocker in the Z-axis (star axis
position +/- 2500 digits).
5.8.12 Top and Bottom PCB Barcode
To allow improved identification of the individual PCBs, Version 407.01 supports the PCB barcode on both
sides of the PCB. If two codes are read, the barcode on the top is always used for job monitoring. If a PCB
only has one barcode, the PCB can nevertheless be identified and components placed top and bottom.
The board is only assembled if, in the Barcode type allocation list on the line computer, the label side is
uniquely identified with "o" for the top the barcode or with "u" for the bottom the barcode. If "X" for no
information is entered, the board is passed through without being assembled.

5.8.13 fk_off.ma - Correction File for Fine Calibration
The correction values derived from the machine capability analysis and fine calibration used to be held in
real.ma. They have now been transferred to the file fk_off.ma. The entries for the relevant camera IDs and
transports are located in the file. The mean offsets from the machine capability analysis must be added to
the values in the "Global" data record depending on the feeder. (Important: These used to be subtracted in
real.ma!) The angle-dependent correction values from wnk_korr.ma (this file is removed) have also been
moved to the new file fk_off.ma. . The relevant offsets for the angles from fine calibration during the
assembly with IC head are added to the values in the records "0", "90", "180", "270", depending on the
conveyor.
Example:
\Dataset 1. BE-Camera \
\ CameraID \ 12#
\ KameraTyp \ "C&P12"#
\ Level \ 1#
\ Number of sets \ 1#
\ 1. Correction Set \
\ ID-Name \ "GLOBAL";
\ 1. Transport \
\X-Offset in microns \ 8,
\Y-Offset in microns \ -9,
\W-Offset in 1/100 degree \ 1!
Adding the global
offsets
depending on
the conveyor in which
the measuring plate
was placed.
\ 2. Transport \
\X-Offset in microns \ -7,
\Y-Offset in microns \ 13,
\W-Offset in 1/100 degree \ -2!
5.8.14 Improvements in the SITEST Test and Commissioning Program
5.8.14.1 Illumination Values for Live Images in SITEST
The illumination values for various illumination levels can be set for the new "Multicolor" PCB camera for the
live image, in order to test the illumination.
This button is inactive for the old PCB camera!
5.8.14.2 Accelerated calibration of the 12-segment C&P head
Measurement of segment offset I and segment offset II is now only repeated 4x for 12-segment heads.
For reasons of accuracy, the measurement is repeated 8x for 6-segment heads.

5.8.14.3 Rapid head mapping
C&P and IC head mapping is now carried out with only one calibration tool package form instead of 4.
For this reason, the calibration tool package form is picked up off center.
5.8.15 Changes to the Machine Data
5.8.15.1 Machine Data Converter
The machine data converter makes changes to the following machine files at level 70:
File Variable Description / Restriction
Height offsets Read global offset values and make entry in FK_OFF.MA
Then reset Height Offsets to zero.
REAL.MA
Backlash time Set backlash time of the C&P camera to 50 ms
Restriction: only 6-nozzle heads with standard or DCA
cameras.
WNK_KORR.MA
Angle correction values Read correction values and make entry in FK_OFF.MA
WNK_KORR.MA is then deleted by the installation procedure.
Vacuum threshold, pickup/place Set to 30% for all heads.
VAKUUM.MA
Number of errors per segment Set number of errors per segment from 3 to 10.
Restriction: For 12-nozzle heads only
FK_OFF.MA
New file Values from REAL.MA are transferred in inverted form.
Correction values from WNK_KORR.MA are transferred.
TRANSP.MA
Input conveyor sensor timeout Introduce input conveyor sensor timeout [s] for both conveyor
tracks and set to 8 s.
The following values are changed during installation of the MC software.
File Variable Description / Restriction
KALI_GF.*
KALI_MB.*
Files from the directory D:\Dat (MC) are used from C:\
SRDaten \ SrcSiTest .. (SC) as of Version 407.
VAK_Z.MA
Nozzle type 902 added
VAKUUM.MA
Evaluation of minimum vacuum
distance
Changed data format
ACHS12MF.MA
ACHS12OF.MA
ACHS6MF.MA
ACHS6OF.MA
AX12STD.MA
AX6STD.MA
Values for forces, acceleration and positions changed.
